Accessible Tourism in Thailand is getting broader and stronger
Bangkok - 27.08.2019
Bangkok - Today the Nutty's Adventures team paid a visit to the Thailand Association of the Blind (TAB) to meet the committees discussing two topics.
There was the coordination between Mahidol University International College (MUIC), the Thailand Association of the Blind (TAB) and Nutty's Adventures (NTA) to plan the guide training programme to serve blind travellers, which is due to be conducted between 3-5 November 2019.
The other important achievement was to arrange for the new accessible tourism network in Thailand to have its first meeting during the following week. It will comprise of the three primary stakeholders - the users (people with disabilities), the academic sector and the private sector - each represented by two organisations or companies.
We believe these are the big steps needed to create opportunities in many areas for both travellers and service providers.
